About Tidewater Tech Online

Tidewater Tech Online is the distance education campus of an established family of two-year career colleges, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  TTO offers a variety of career-focused associates degrees, and it is fully accredited through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.  Focusing on a collaborative, communal educational experience, TTO emphasizes small class sizes, high levels of online discourse among students and teachers, cutting-edge multi-media instructional tools, and rigorous student support efforts.

TTO offered its first classes in November 2002.  We now have over 200 students who take classes from 26 different states.  Our students benefit from significant online interaction, have access to online tutoring and technical support, take part in online activities and student advisory boards, and learn within an impressive multi-media environment.  Our teachers draw from extensive teaching and business experience, so our students learn both theoretical and practical knowledge within their fields of interest.
